The AirTrain system connects all areas of the airport with the MTA subway and bus networks. To get to midtown Manhattan, take the AirTrain to the subway station and catch the E train. The total fare for this journey should be around $7.
You can find the car rental counters on the Arrivals level of each terminal. Companies on offer include Avis, Budget, Dollar, Enterprise, Hertz and National. Cars can be picked up from Federal Circle Station, accessible via the AirTrain. You can book your car online to guarantee availability.
Check-in counters are located near the main entrance of each terminal building.
Travelex currency exchange desks are located in Terminals 2 to 8, while Terminal 1 has a Lenlyn Ltd Ice Currency office. You can also pre-purchase your American dollars in the form of cash or a MasterCard Cash Passport from Travel Money.
Business travellers can make use of JFK Airport's WiFi access, fax and copy services, VIP lounges, postal services and public phones. There are also several hotels in the airport precinct that offer full conference facilities.

Terraces Lounge - Located after security screening in Terminal 7, the Terraces Lounge is exclusively for First Class, Club World and Club Europe customers, as well as Gold and Silver Executive Club members and eligible partner airline members and passengers. Within the lounge is the World Wine bar, offering a wide variety of complimentary wines and other beverages. There is also the Terraces Lounge Restaurant for those in need of a meal while waiting for their flight. Other amenities include computers, free WiFi, power points, complimentary massages and the Elemis spa.
Delta
Delta Sky Club - The Delta Sky Club offers eligible travellers a range of benefits including a fully stocked bar, complimentary snacks, free WiFi, satellite TV, business cubicles, reading material and personalised flight assistance. There are four Sky Club lounges within JFK Airport - three in Terminal 3 and one on the Mezzanine Level of Terminal 2. American Airlines
American Airlines Admirals Club - There are Admirals Club lounges located in both Concourse B and Concourse C of Terminal 8. They are open to international Business and First Class passengers of Oneworld airlines as well as eligible frequent flyer members of these airlines. The lounges offer complimentary beverages and snacks, conference rooms, computers with internet access, complimentary WiFi, showers, music rooms, children's rooms and meals for purchase.
The best way to travel between terminals is the free AirTrain service. The AirTrain stops at all terminals, parking lots, hotel shuttle areas and rental car facilities. Look for the AirTrain directional signs throughout each terminal building.
